I have bulid a 48V 20Ah battery pack for ebike.I will try its range next time. I'm not sure how long it will last for years.Maybe I will test the real capacity someday.

You can generally "predict" an "Ideal range" if you measure how many amps are drawn from the battery pack at a fixed given speed.
If you have a 20 Amp Hour pack, it means (generally), it can deliver 20 amps for one hour, or 10 amps for two hours.
It is not uncommon for most hub motors to draw a bit under 500 watts (or roughly 10 amps with a 48 volt pack) at 20 MPH.
If you are cruising at 20 MPH on level ground, with little wind, it means you could cruise for 2 hours. 2 hours at 20 MPH would equate to roughly 40 miles of total range you could cover. If you increase your speed, your total travelled milage will reduce significantly.

All these numbers are intended as "ball park". Some of my eBikes crank out better numbers, others are worse.
For example, my Motor Goat v3 draws 240 to 370 watts of power to cruise at 20 MPH on level ground under ideal wind conditions.
I suspect my Zeegr might require a full 500 watts to achieve the same feat.
