I am building an electric scooter from scratch, and I am stuck on the wiring of the motor and controller.
I have a dc brushless motor with sensor, a controller and a battery. I finished the basic wiring (battery, throttle and motor all connected to the controller), and it did not work. I am fairly certain that the connection between the battery and the controller is sound, but I don't know about the connection between the controller and motor.
I have connected all the wires but I don't know if there is a break inside one of the wires or if either the motor or controller is faulty.
Would you be able to give me some suggestions for what might be going wrong and how to troubleshoot it?

Damn it seems like it should work. It's going to be unbelievably slow and weak on a scooter though. Have you tried not hooking up the sensor wires and see if it works? I didn't notice a throttle hooked up and the on off switch but you must have had it connected, right?

Yep, throttle is connected (that was quite easy - the connectors were the same). I did try without the sensor and also nothing.
