Brake emblem shows on display with err 2. Note when turned on the taillight comes on . Turn the lights on brake light comes on . No power all setting

Yeasion folding bike. Stopped long enough that display shut off. Went to ride and would only go on pedal assist. When turned off and back on later the brake emblem and err2 shows on display. Unit now will do nothing. All settings are correct. Turn display on running light glows, turn light button on and brake light comes on . My other bike the lights won't come on till till switch in engaged. Perplexed.

Does it have a throttle ? error code 2 can be caused due to faulty connection, brake sensor being set off meaning the shut off switch has interference which could be caused if your throttle is broken or damaged or something as simple as your lever isn't fully retracting causing the sensor to say your brake is engaged when it doesn't appear to be. If not that controller is faulty.

Thanks for the feedback. No throttle, l will start by checking all connections and brake adjusters. Then try to check the wiring for pinching and try to test them as best l can. Have a great day .
