Just back from riding 38 miles to Chase city and back. Bike said it was 38 miles google says 42 miles. IDK My youngest daughter wanted to go there for lunch and wanted me to meet her. Thank the lord I took the charger with me this time (first time I've taken the charger riding with me) fought a terrible head wind the whole way there and really pulled the juice from the battery. No way I'd have made it home if it hadn't gotten a little charge while we ate. Plus going west was a fair amount of climbing the elevation increases as we go west from here, those hills are a killer I tell ya! So glad I got dual motors, a single motor would not have pulled some of those hills.

I got my bike and started riding just about two weeks ago and already have 235 miles on it! I've seen some beautiful country since then!

Just a short quick ride today. Quickest trip I've made on the bike so far. First I ran up to vote early and miss any other idiocy from the powers that be. Then I went in to town in power level 3) @ 24mph and came home in power level 5) @ 34mph. My frozen food was still frozen when I got home! Another win for the bike. lol This was the first real long (3.5-4mi) high speed run for this bike. Before this I had taken it up to see where it topped out at and that was all. All the regular riding I've been doing has been at 13mph to get the most distance possible per charge up until yesterday when I ran 18mph to hurry to meet my daughter for lunch in one of the towns west of me. A lot of my riding a minimum of 2 miles each way each time I ride is also at 13mph or under because it's off road from my place to pavement or a real gravel road. My road is nothing more than an old broken down logging track back in the middle of nowhere 2 miles from the closest neighbors. To call it a road is very generous!!!

Had a nice little ride today. Went in to Victoria and road the rail trail till it's far to short dead end. Then looped around here and there for a total of 28 joyous miles in today's beautiful weather.
It's getting to be time to think about a different seat or maybe a foam / gel seat cover. My backside doesn't have any extra meat for cushion! lol

Which eBike have you got? Sounds like a fat tire one would be a good choice for your situation, except that pedaling is very difficult at times due to the weight.

Can any of you tell me the tool I need to change the 7 speed cassette on the E26 Pro? I think it's this one but I'm not sure.

I'd like to change to this cassette if it'll work.

Looking to be able to pedal at higher speeds with the motor, right now I can pedal up to about 18 if I'm really pushing my ability.

I got two responses on amazon from previous buyers and it is clear they don't know the difference between a freewheel and a cassette hub. One party asked what I meant; another stated that it spins. Haha. I emailed the manufacturer.

I didn't know the difference either; had to look it up:

Freewheels are the older design and only found today on cheaper bikes - most, if not all, are seven speed designs. And cassette hubs start with seven speeds. Thus a bike listed as having seven speeds can be either one, and they are not interchangeable. If you have a view of the axle inside either sprocket setup, you may be able to identify which type you have. Freewheels are a single unit. Cassette hubs will have an outer retaining ring to hold the smallest cog. The sprockets may also have markings that identify the type of system.

Also, on non-eBikes, the wheel hub of a freewheel is usually small in diameter, less than an inch. On a cassette hub, it is larger, to accommodate the ratcheting mechanism inside.

46 miles on the bike today, Blackstone and back my longest ride yet! It was a gorgeous day for it! Got a new seat at Walmart after looking at the gel covers and not being impressed. Not sure yet if I like the new seat, time will tell... One thing I really do like about it is it's about two inches taller the the original and that gives me perfect leg geometry with the seat post at full extension.

I think I'd also like a little more top end speed, had a couple very fast dogs outrunning the bike at WOT, 33mph today. One was a pissed off looking fighting type dog, the other not sure.

Racking up the miles crossed 350 miles sometime this morning while running errands and shopping. Went ahead and ordered that 11-34 cassette this morning along with a cheap bike tool kit to change it out with.

On another crazier note I also ordered a step up converter so I can break down my 5kw 51.2 volt battery and use part of it instead of trying to haul all 80lbs. It'll soon be time to break out an ammo can to put either 4) or 8) 105AH cells in to extend my range... Still need to open the controller box and see what kind of connector the battery uses so I can order the parts to connect the added power cells.

ETA: Pulled the controller cover off and found I need XT60 type connectors and got those ordered.

In the wee hours of the morning I ended up also ordering a freewheel since it looks like the cassette is not going to be right after all. In several places the sellers call the MF TZ500-7 a cassette and in many others they call it a freewheel. Now either way I have it covered.

I also spent hours playing math games trying to figure out what chain ring will give me the best match to make the pedals and PAS 1-5 levels all be useful. Might have to move up to a 54t from the 48t to get the best all around match but I'll wait and see how it does with just the one change first.

This is reminding me a bit of my 20 years of drag racing, always going for a little more! LMAO

Ah you mean the "Robot or human" text on your link? That's just the forums link unfurl feature getting tripped up by the Walmart websites settings. I will turn off unfurl for that link!

Made a nice 25 mile loop to the south and west today. Love this time of year with the leaves changing. One thing a little rough about it is they hide many bad ruts in the woods when off road like I often am. They are also slick as ice when they are pretty deep in the road like I found out today.
