BBS02 kit on a bike with a 73mm Bottom Bracket

Does the BBS02 kit fit on a bikes with a 73mm Bottom Bracket?

I just transferred a BBS02 from a 68mm bottom bracket to a 73mm and there were no problems. The Luna cycles instructions say that a 73mm bottom bracket is ok with the BBSHD and it should fit the the BBS02 ok too. Instead of using the locknut you can just use some loctite on the nuts.
