I have a 48 volt system with a 15 volt battery fully charged I have 54.4 volts what is the typical bottom end I read 43.9 can someone educate me? I know its not good to run till it dies that is what I was trying to figure out

Be careful of your battery. I learned that lesson the hard way. I have a specialize Creo and rode the battery to the RED and continued to ride. I assumed the bike battery was like a cellphone and be able to recover ..... wrong. The bike got me home OK but the next day it would not charge.
The bike shop investigate several possible causes but finally pointed to the main battery. The repair was almost $1000.
The lessons ..... charge after every ride, use a timer to limit charge time to 1 1/2 hours, charge only up to 80-90% and don't ride below 20% charge ( about 65 miles).
