Battery output.Full charge vs 50%charge.

I just built a ebike and the battery has more output at full charge 1400 watts vs 50% charge 1140 watts.Is this normal?It does make sense but I was surprised.I actually thought it would be basically the same output until BMS cut off.

battery voltage decreases steadily as charge level decreases. Amp output should remain fairly steady. Less volts times same amps gives less wattage.
