I've seen a few reviews of the bike and the testers commented on how well balanced the bike was with a low center of gravity. There was also an update on the indiegogo that the final production will have a slightly upgraded battery. I've been following this project for awhile and put in a preorder as well

Got an email today from Bandit that the first batch of X-Trail Pros will be shipped from the factory on the 27th of this month and could hit the US in mid September with another week for local delivery.
Lots of good riding weather in late Sept and October.

Hey everyone first post on the forum. Really want to see when you all receive your X-Trail Pros...I too pre-ordered the Bandit X-trail Pro. Was impressed with Tailhappy and other reviews on YT. With the pre-order price, it's just a lot of bike for the money. Planning on using it mainly to commute to the office with a 13-mile round trip. Placed my order on August 26th. Haven't received any update from them on the status or estimated ship date, all I know is the site indicates they "Start shipping in September"...

Ok, update...I just checked the site, price is back up to $2700, no longer pre-order. Now the website indicates shipping in November. Let's hope the November timeframe only applies to non-preorders.

This is a cut and paste from an email I received from Bandit on August 22.
  • Assembly Update: We're thrilled to inform you that the first batch of X-Trail Pro bikes is nearing the completion of its assembly. Your dream ride is taking shape!
  • Shipping Details: Mark your calendars! We've arranged for the bikes to be shipped on or around August 27th.
  • US Arrival & Delivery: The X-Trail Pro will touch down in the US by mid-September. From there, it should take approximately a week to get the bikes dispatched and on their way to your doorstep.
I ordered mine on August 15th.

Hey all, just wanted to provide an update on my bike. Since it has been about 2 1/2 weeks since I placed my order with no communication on the status of my bike, I decided to contact support.

After some badgering through some back-and-forth emails, I got support to tell me in the first response: "The bike is still in our warehouse. We have started shipping out X-Trail Pros recently, you will get yours very soon!"

Then I pressed them for a narrower time frame citing I needed an estimated frame so I could schedule a day off work for delivery...their second response:

"You will get the bike the last week of September."

So in about two weeks, I should have it!

Any updates for you penndan?

Keep us posted when you get your ebike, I almost pre-ordered the Bandit X-Trail Pro, I ended up going a different route thou.

It looks like a really nice bike from the video reviews i watched of it.

I believe my pre-ordered ebike is coming on the same boat as yours. I as well was told the end of September my bike would be delivered. Congrats on your ebike.

In another thread I talked about changing my mind about wanting the Bandit Pro because it's to fast and dangerous for my 86 year old reflexes and body. So I've contacted Bandit and asked them to cancel my order. They said yes and I'm just waiting for a confirmation and info on how I would get my money back.

Will do. Which bike do you have on order? Just curious about why you went with the one you did.

I'm sorry to hear that you will be canceling your order. I do understand as this is a lot of bike and may be tough to control if you do not feel up to the task.

I pre-ordered the Freego Shotgun F3 Pro Max. Really the only reason I changed my mind was due to frame designs.

I do some heavy offroad riding & I wasnt for sure if a step thru frame design would hold up over time. Plus I wasnt sure what the Bandit X Trail Pro used for frame materials.

I ordered the Bandit X-Trail Pro the 40 mph double motor double battery model. But in a saner moment I decided that 40 mph was too fast for my 86 year old body and reaction time.

I can understand...This is exactly why I ordered the X-Trail pro . To be fair though, in the reviews I've seen the rider in all reviews have trouble reaching 40. I'm expecting a solid 35 MPH throttle-only cruiser, which fills the need for my commute to work.

Your bike is probably superior to the X-Trail Pro at least for off-roading. Then again, I don't plan to do much off-roading, even though the page for the X-trail pro has a few riders taking it off-road. I do agree with your thought that a step-over frame would be able to take more abuse.

Angry did you receive your Bandit X-Trail Pro yet? Thanks.
Unfortunately not yet. I was told last week of September. Will plan to follow up with support mid-next week if I haven't heard anything by then. Will keep you all posted.

What about your bike diesel? Any updates?
