I tried several different E-bikes. I’m 6’2 260lbs, as you can imagine it was difficult to find an E-bike that not only fit me comfortably, but had enough power to pull my big ass down the road at a minimum of 30mph. I tested many bikes with large rear motors and high ampage battery packs but was ultimately disappointed in either power, battery longevity or both. Enter the Bandit X-trail Pro. I was immediately drawn to the dual motors, dual 48v20AH batteries and the overall quality of the frame and components. Not to mention a seat my big ass could appreciate. My wife at 150lbs can ride it at 42mph for 20miles with dozens of stops and only use about 10-12% of the battery life. I ride it in the highest sport mode of 6, in dual motor auto mode with “speed” selected over torque in memory settings. I only pedal up to 29mph then use the throttle. I max out at 37.5mph on totally flat ground with no wind. The normal max is around 35.4 mph for me. I had the controller adjusted to better distribute power based on my weight. I use about 16-18% of the battery in the maxed out modes over 20miles. I’m basically riding it like a moped. If I turn it down to level 3 and lightly pedal in 7th gear.. I only use about 6-8% of the battery over 20 miles averaging 26mph. My route has many stops and a few 15% grade hills adding up to about half a mile. The bikes performance and quality are top notch. If you do choose dual motor mode, even at my weight be careful using the top 3 pedal assist modes as the front tire will spin if you’re not up on the pedals leaning forward as you pump. If it’s wet out.. be mindful of cranking the throttle in a turn lol. I usually have 20-30 lbs of crap on my bike rack so it still performs as I’ve described towing 290 lbs. I love it and have zero regrets that I made the best selection on the market.

That's a pretty slick ride! Congrats! Love the Pelican case saddle bags. Nice!
Thanks! I figured they’d be the best water tight storage for tools, tubes, a/c compressor and the power cord. I drove over a sharp culvert about a mile and a half from my house without a spare tube or compressor and had to push that 110lb hooker on the grass to prevent rim damage in 95 degree heat with near 100 humidity.. never again.. lol. I also pre slime my tubes in case I ride over something.

I think it would look neat with white Stars & ARMY painted on each side of your Pelican storage cases.

Lol my bike is a 140lbs & the 2nd day I had a flat & then put motorcycle tires on my ebike. No more flats now.

What other saddle bags have others used and found a good fit? X-Trail Pro
There are plenty of main stream waterproof options made specifically for cycling but they are a bit pricy. The cheapest option are military type molle bags of just about any size. It’s all about fabbing a mounting system to your size and liking. Threaded rivets and molle panels are the easiest way to go.
