Bafang HD1000 throttle doesn't work when pedaling but fine if I stop pedaling?

I have a Bafang HD1000 and the throttle doesn't work when pedaling it works fine if I stop pedaling?

I have the BBS03 and I have the same issue, you learn to not pedal when using the throttle.

I don't know for sure but that may be a programming option. I would check with Luna Cycles in SOCAL they seem to be the Bafang shop of choice for lots of people. You could also check out the Bafang website I'm sure the they have a help portal.
