Bafang Configuration Tool for Android

And of course you can still download the Penov Windows app and do a USB/serial connection via a laptop. My Speeed app still works just fine on my android phones, but then again I already downloaded it so I don't have to try that again.
It runs, loads an el file, but cannot save a file. I didn't try to connect to a controller.
Mine does the same. Can't save a file. But connects just fine with a usb-C-toUSB-A adapter connected to a standard 'programming' cable, which in turn is connected to the display. I don't care about saving files because nowadays I have done so much tinkering I already have my ideal settings memorialized here so I just nav to the web page on my phone, zoom in on one of the pics and copy over the settings.

I'm also pretty glad I still have my Luna Black Box, which is my fallback, and unfortunately also seems to be off the market as they've been out of stock for a lonnnnng time.

For giggles I should probably figure out a usb-to-serial solution just to have all my bases covered. My Black Box disappeared into a storage bin for about a year before I finally came across it again.

I sideloaded the apk. It runs, loads an el file, but cannot save a file. I didn't try to connect to a controller.

I dug up an old Samsung S8 with Android 9 and it works perfectly.
Not quite perfectly. The S8 with Android 9 will load a file and save to the same file. But it will not Save As. The file name dialog does not appear.

Hey all, I have tried to get the SPEEED app to work, bought a Dell lap top...and it was evidently too new and we happened to get a T-Mobile phone for home service, so I opted for a Samsung...hoping I could use it for the bike im building. It did download the app and ter a few tries...but when connection to the BBSO2 through the correct cable, with a 48 volt power supply (no battery yet) the App does not connect with my motor. What series Android do I need to be right for this motor ? Help...!

What program did you use when you tried on the Dell laptop? If you can't use the normal bafang config tool (not Speeed) on the Dell, you may have to get a controller that allows you to config via Bluetooth. Eggrider is an example of one such controller.

Hello,
I'm the author of the "Speeed" application for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mkopa.speeed
It's the equivalent of the popular Windows tool "Bafang Configuration Tool". The application supports configuration files from "Bafang Configuration Tool", it also saves them in this format (*.el).
To work we need the same adapter i.e. USB-Serial + Julet 5-pin female plug.
The application is free. I'm making it for our common good
In the next version (deployment-ready) we'll find support for Bluetooth adapters, and after some time and thorough testing, the application will also be available for iOS.
Please send me information about bugs, new features, etc.
Enjoy
I have a Bafang M200 motor and I went to download your Speeed app but it says that the app is made for an older Android version than I have on my phone. Is there a way I can get your app?
