Aostirmotor SO7 - Error Code 30 Communication?

Hi Been riding for about a year love it AZ in winter canada in the summer

I bought it last year The battery was dead I charged it for a day When i rode it the throttle worked fine. display works and you can go through all the setting but no speedo or odo has an error code 30 which they say is communication when i checked the wiring there was one pin bent on the plug going to the display I repaired it and think it is fine I have checked the wiring all seems to be fine everything looks original I have 5v on the small red and black wires There is also a white wire that shows 3.96 v when i spin the wheel the voltage changes from about 3.6 to 3.9v so maybe the sensor in the hub motor is bad? It is a truckrun motor 48v 750 w Also the pas wants to go like crazy when i pedal so i unhooked and ride it that way replaced the pas sensor with one from temu looks the same but it did not work sometimes it trys a little bit

Hi there!

I am confused as to what your current problem is.

From what you told, it seems that you USED TO have the error code 30, but fixed it? Is it still there?

What are the symptoms you are experiencing today? Is it the PAS sensor " it did not work sometimes it trys a little bit "? What do you mean by that?

I have never got rid of error 30 All my connections look good everything on the bike looks original
I have no speedo just 0's no odo shows total miles I have 3.96 volts coming out of the white wire from the mptor to the controller when i spin the rear wheel it moves from 3.6v to 3.9v So maybe it is the speed sensor in the motor?r If i leave to pas wire hooked up as soon as you pedal it just wants to go really no control I put a new pas on sometimes it will come for just a second or 2 nearly all the time it does nothing But the throttle works excellent go any speed i want LCD comes on i can programme it but nothing happens If i could find why i have error 30 Maybe it is because or the white signal wire ? j

What do you mean by that? Do you mean that even if you stop pedalling it still goes? Otherwise I have trouble understanding what you deem abnormal. With Pedal Assist, once you pedal the motor kicks in. Its power is only determined by the level of assistance you choose on the display.

Could you please clarify a bit more?

but i would like to find out how to reach the truck motor company and maybe buy a speed sensor but i have tried to contact them they never call back

I still don't understand what you mean buy "no control". What you describe seems to me to be the normal operation of the pedal assist system

again, it seems to me that your previous setting worked, and now it doesn't.

When you change pas setting from 1 2345 it makes no difference I am more concerned about the speedo which could be the signal from the motor not working not sure how to fix that

I tried another pas sensor it goes on the left side on the pedal shaft Isays it can go on the left side the newest one works a little better than the others It trys to work then just runs away go to pas control 123 makes no difference still have no speedo or odo and error 30 Maybe i just need a new controller Does any one know where i can get an original one or a generic one i can wire into it .
