Aostirmotor S18 Model Controller Box location?

Hello, Everyone
I have a customer that is having trouble locating the Controller Box on his Aostirmotor S18 Model he is in need of replacing it but it seems to be hidden too well!! Any ideas for this would be extremely appreciated!!

Have you contacted the mfg? That would be my first call. Looks like this is an offshore bike sold primarily on ebay, not sure you will get much info from the sellers. Maybe they could at least point you to a mfg where they get the bikes.

Yeah we did this am currently waiting for a reply from them just wanted to post here as well for possibly someone else’s experience with the same issue as well as to help others. You are definitely right though the mfg should have a answer for this I will post too if I am able to find the answer for this! Thanks a million!

I just checked your website, on it you are selling this make and model of bike, how is it you don't know where the controller is, seems little strange to me.

It's because we are an online retailer only we do not service bikes or have a brick-and-mortar store currently.

Also, we are still learning as we go about each brand and model there are many to choose from some great and others not so much unfortunately!

It might be a good idea to buy and test them before releasing them on the public.

If we could afford to or if we get the opportunity to for sure that would be fun to do as of now though we rely on research and word of mouth from others' experiences with them.

Hello, Everyone

We were able to find the correct answer to this question and the answer is the controller box is built inside of the hub motor so to replace it will require purchasing a replacement wheel for the rear of the bike for this model unless being inclined to take apart the hub motor located in the wheel to replace the control box only!

So just replace the controller..the whole wheel assembly does not need to be bought/changed.

Adjusted what I was trying to let everyone know regarding this model because most people that own bikes are not bike mechanics and would prefer the fastest easiest and cheapest way to fix it without buying a new bike sorry for not clarifying in the post!
