Aostirmotor display reset to factory

My son has been playing around with the display settings and we think he changed some of the required factory settings. Anybody know how to reset these or if not, where can I find the original settings?

S07. Thanks! Good to be here. It's my son's bike and it stopped working. Trying to figure out why it won't get power to the motor.

could be a wire got jostled loose?

As long as the display comes on just start checking all other wire connections or even check for broken wires or crushed wires.
Just seems to me it has to be somethin simple to fix

I've checked wires, brake sensors, battery connection. He's telling me now that the bike made a sound like a light switch being turned when it stopped working. Maybe a breaker somewhere?

I have an Aostirmotor S17 E bike. My whole electric system gave out on me late last summer. The errors I get on the display before the display and everything shuts down is “Error 20H” and “Error 08H”. I can’t seem to find anyone that knows the answer on how to fix this. All the local bike shops won’t look at a third-party electric bike. So I’m just stuck riding this 82 pound bike manually until I can finally find someone that can diagnose and fix my problem.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Also it seems my front brake is rubbing and getting hot. How do I adjust this please?

I have an Aostirmotor S 17 as well. How do you like your so far? Mine was great for the first 2 1/2 years, then I’ve had errors on my display where the electric part of the bike won’t function any longer. As far as your brakes go, loosen up the Screws on the pads, press, the brake lever down to lock against the rotor, and then tighten the screws back up. Hopefully that will center your rotor between the pads.

As far as the errors on my display goes, they are Error 08H, and Error 20H. You’ve never had these before? It might be my battery is bad, so if I could find somebody else with an Aostirmotor S17 bike, I could try their battery. I don’t know nobody here in the Kansas City area with One though. Where are you located? ha ha.

Unfortunately, in my area, no bike shop wants to look at a third-party electric bike to try and fix it. I got mine off Amazon, and that is my predicament. I got a broken bike, that nobody will even try to look at to fix it.

Also, to get into the advanced settings on your display, I believe the code is 1801. When inside there you should be able to find a menu to reset to factory settings.
