I bought a Wired Freedom back in August, & have yet to ride it due to wife's illness, death, & ensuing complications.
Just put Ultraverse tires on. (these are motocycle tires, ultra heavy duty). As soon as I get a throttle not designed for
the hands of children, I may even ride it. What's your experience? I can tell you that you need to be very carefui
changing a rear tire. The motor wheel with one of those tires weighs about 50 pounds. It has more than 3 times the
power of my sensible S. Korean KBO tornado. KBO has the same throttle which is easy to hit when you don;t want
to. With all that power it could be really frightening. Am putting on a German thumb throttle. I make my own grips.

oh man, sorry to hear about your losses and complications.

Look up some surron throttles, if i recall correctly they have some aftermarket ones that are alot better.
Oh what german throttle you getting?

I just put this battery on a voilamart 1500w kit LOL

Probably need to look into better tires i should :)

What kind of grips do ya make?

Already have *throttles, 99% sure they'll work, but will test on the KBO 1st, Maybe i'll consider 'voila' for the trailer,..nah.
My reason for those tires is they're the meatiest thing on the market & heavy, adding to the flywheel effect. Grips, 1st
I wrap the bare bar in double-sided tape. Next a piece of 1" foam pipe insulation onto taped bar. That gets a spiral wrap
with tarred nylon siene twine. Punched leather grips are sewn wet onto the bar, then turned inside out & jockeyed onto
the bar. Real comfy for arthritic old hands.
*upgraded Das KIt, does require a short 3 pin M/M conector

P.S. Throttle notion is a wash, pins connected up fine on KBO, wires must differ somehow. Irks me,
but at least I'm familiar with the stock one on the wired. This also thwarts the grip plan. Curses, foiled again!
Guess I will look up surron. I hate those cheap thumb throttles that spring to pieces.

I purchased two different thumb throttles before I found one that worked on my Philodo bike. Then I discovered I hate thumb throttles. You can have both my thumb throttles if you want. Message me if you want them.

Electricallwheel has a universal one that you can easily rearrange the wires to work with any bike.

Here is a YT video that shows the install on a Wired bike-
