Has anyone found an off brand battery charger compatible with Specialized Turbo bikes? 42v, 4a, li-ion. I’ve seen them on line for $30-40 but wonder if there would be any issues? I don’t want to do anything that’s going to damage the bike or battery.
Anyone?

You found an off brand one online that has the Specialized plug? I think your best bet would be to watch Ebay and buy one there at auction.

No, the cheap one did not have the Specialized (Rosenberg) plug end.
Then it won't work with your bike. Everything Specialized does is well, specialized. They don't want you going off the ranch for a single thing. I can't even find out who makes their controllers. I'm a firm believer (now more then ever) in "right to repair" and Specialized is against that concept with all of its builds. Sorry, but the only other option is hunting for used.
