Another stupid newbie question! (Phone handle bar holders?)

Ok. Basically what I do , as I am in one of the smallest cogs Always. ...even then I can get into the pinwheel effect - spinning but adding nothing . Think my smallest cogs is a 14 , so I need a 13 or 12 ...

Go to an 11T smallest then you have 11, 13 and 15 that are somewhat useful. My front sprocket or chainring is 52T and my tires are 26x4 which are actually 29 tall.
