So that looks like you have one of the offroad-only "mixed" lights that has a reflector cups designed to give both spot and flood at the same time.
While I like the look I do have a concern about using such a setup "on road" because there isn't any way to control the sidespill to avoid blinding oncoming vehicles which is why these lights are marked "offroad only"
This was never a concern with the older, sub-400 lumen lights that used to be available as a mis-aimed light was simply annoying, but in this era of 2,000-or-more-lumen lights (the average car high beam is 1,500 lumens) there is a real requirement to have controlled and aimable lights on bikes.
I understand wanting to see, but motorists are already retaliating against "offensive" light choices and at best get the cops involved. At worst.... well you can imagine.

There are thousands of choices, this was a spare jeep light to try out for said concept. Less use for "night" more for day strobe where it wouldn't be bothersome. As I said, can turn it down, so have to find the right mix. Most of the trails I go on are not right on roads, they are remote trails, so even at night, even with a spread, it shouldn't be a problem. I get what you're saying... fully.
