The folding e-bike is very light, and its uniqueness lies in its small size, foldable, quick disassembly, exquisite design, excellent material and sophisticated manufacturing process. Easy to carry and can be tucked into the trunk. Energy saving and environmental protection. It is a stylish companion for driving outings and a new choice for holiday gifts.

But folding e-bike products are small in size, so the load capacity is not very good, and you can't carry too many things. Battery life is not long. There is no problem with the battery life of more than 20 kilometers, and it is a good choice for daily commuting. But if the distance is too far it is not suitable.

We had three different 20" folding Bikes, two of them were ebikes, which we use with our RV. They are very nice if you have a need for making them smaller to transport. There is a down size however and that is because of the Smaller Wheels they are Steer/Turn much quicker and can cause you to loss control and wreck! A Bike with larger Diameter Wheels, this happens much slower giving you more time to adjust to a turn, thereby improving control. It a compromise worth making, we love our Rad Mini Step Throughs.

Thank you for your reply. You're right, smaller wheels, they steer/turn faster and are less manoeuvrable.

What? You must have not been around a folding ebike.mine weights 68 pounds and can carry 330 pounds

20x4" wheel folder with suspension front fork and 300# capacity. Bike weight 68#.

Impressive range, but awfully heavy for a compact bike.

The foldable that comes to my mind is the Lectric 2.0. The weight is 64 lbs, 500 watt motor, 330 lb payload and rides on 20 x 3" tires. The price is $999. They claim a 40 mile range. A few pounds less than the Aventon. Probably due to the 3" vs 4" tires. I'm sure lighter materials could be used. The problem is fitting a $2000 set of wheels to a $1000 bike
