I want to go for a second battery on my bike because I think it will get me farther places. I go to a lot of car meets and most of them are pretty far and I get very tired of being in the single motor first setting and having bad range anxiety. I also want to better max out my power benefit for the bike I just want to know exactly what parts to get and where to mount it because I don't have much experience on bigger modifications.

Hi there,

The easy option would be to order the rear rack with a backup battery direct from Boombike here: https://boomebike.com/products/rear-rack-for-backup-battery?variant=48604749037863

It mentions "Whole set with Rack, Transformer, Battery 22.4AH". It should come with instructions which tell you how to connect everything together.
I think that is a great option to consider especially knowing that I'm not great with working with electrical stuff yet but the price may be a problem so we'll see.

Are you able to find anything like that on a website that'll sell it for cheaper like amazon or something because I know how boomebike likes to jack the price up quite a bit from what amazon usually has

If you are not electrical savvy, consider getting a "dual batter Polar Bear blender". The two batteries plug in via their standard XT60 connectors, and your controller box plugs into the blender via the opposite gender XT60. It makes it plug and play.
