So I got a e-bike kit online for my hard tail bike 48v 16ah battery 1000w back direct drive hub motor it's really good I can get up to
50-60kmh ( 30-32mph ı guess)
so my question is when I charge it at the display says that top voltage is 55v or 55.5 is this voltage is too high or normal and at what voltage do you think I should charge the battery once I get down to 39v and i can adjust the voltage cutoff with display

and the behind the charger it says it can charge up to 55.5

I don't have a kit, but do have a 48volt ebike & it charges to 54.6volts. I got my low voltage cutoff set at 41volts. I personally feel 39volts is too low.

54.6 is the normal max voltage for a 48 volt battery. Below is a good chart to go by for 13S 48 volt batteries.

I have mine set at 40 but will change it to 41, maybe 42. On my first battery charge, my motor cut out as I went up a steep hill in PAS 3 of 5, and battery voltage was low 42. Be prepared for the motor cut off at low voltage if you place a high demand on it.
