I'm looking to buy a first electric bike. On upway I see a Husqvarna Gran Tourer GT2 that has 13340km. It looks like a good bike but I'm just not sure that the battery is still in good condition with that mileage. They claim the battery has at least still 80% of capacity but is that claim correct?
Could somebody who has ridden a significant amount of miles with his bike tell me a little more about the battery life. (13340 km is something like 200 charge cycles I think). Unfortunately I don't know the brand of the battery, only that it has a capacity of 506 wh.

I didn't know Upway was in Belgium now. I don't know a lot about your brands over there, but I would give you a hard no, on this one. I put the milage in twice because it was too high to believe. 8,000 mi is too much. Never mind your battery, the motor is past it. It's a midrive, so how people shift matters. The motor is a part of the drive train and vice, versa. This was bought from a bike shop, so I'm guessing it's a rental. 13,340km of people torqueing it out at lights, chugging it up hill and not shifting when they should. Upway is a reputable company and they get a lot of overstocks. There is no reason to buy a rescue bike, that can't be rescued. Pick another one for us to look at.

I have 2 questions for you. Can you order from Upway in Germany and do you have your heart set on a midrive? This is from the Upway de. Site. Other local countries might have even more of a selection.
