I have a Charge City ebike that I purchased online. I have had some serious issues with the bike and now Charge has been apparently reorganized into Volta. I have attempted to contact both organizations with maintenance / operation / warranty issues with no response. Does anybody know of a shop in the midwest (near Chicago or Detroit) that can address electrical issues. If I can't find a solution, this will be a $1,700 online purchase failure.

I bought this kit during covid along with a few BBSHD's. I built the BBSHD kits but never got around to using the CYC. At this point I am happy with what I have and do not want to spend the money on another bike to build out. All of the parts in the kit are new. It has the upgraded BAC2000 but you will have to come up with a mount for it. I am asking $750 for the kit and I will cover the shipping. I wish that I would have built this first but want to keep all my parts the same by sticking with one brand.

As some of you may know I had an issue with my Brose motor. I did end up getting in touch with Brose who gave me a shop I could take the bike to. Although since I opened it I'm not sure what the cost will be or if they will fix it. Now in the meantime I have put together my own DIY ebike and will have a second custom creation soon. So while I love the moda I am considering parting out if there is interest rather than dealing with the repair process. I have 2 batteries, wiring harness, display, speed sensor, a few spare carbon gates belts and a non-working motor (though appears mechanically sound).
